Did he move out of the Goal square?

much to his disgust, he did leave the goal square he played on the ball for a while :D

How did the thunder go in the trial?

i think roughly went down by about 4 or 5 goals, was a good game for most of it, thebarton obviously suits the way walkies play but definatly lots of positives to take out of the game.

How did the new recruits go? Did all of them play?

Can anyone report on the Seaton trial?

Solid hit out on a warm day, game played in a good spirit, good luck to Rostrevor this year and also they have the best looking medical staff going around in the SAAFL.

Walsh done ok, Marshall was dragged half time & never returned.
Wanders played well in patches.
Full strength Seaton would be happy with the hit out against a depleted Rostrevor.

I heard he was 101kg prior to game & was a happy 100kg at full time.
Good to see he worked hard in that goal square!

Any reliable news on whether Kilburn are fielding 2 sides?? I find it hard to beleive that a club of Kilburns stature has been found in this position......??

Good trial for SMOSh even with Minners away on business I would have thought.

Phos pretty good side. We played 3 quarters with some probable a's/b's and then some lower grade players - PHos decided to play six quarters with their first choice side!!! Some fit boys at Camden oval obviously!

First hit-out is always a bit of a test to see where people are at rather then guage a sides chances for a flag, and a chance to have a look at a few younger/new blokes anyway yeah? I think the last round of trials will give the better indicator.

If we make our cricket grand final, i won't get to play a trial before the season proper begins :(

surley with the great captain you play under a grand final is a likely out come. as for trail games turbo you dont need the run
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

A few played the 6 out of necessity I think Turbo we probably only had the 30 odd available due to other committments but was a good hit out and all you really need for a first trial as well.

Sh!t. I jsut got that. Hitting myself in the head ATM.

incidentally Schimma, jsut found we are playing on teh biggest paddock in grade cricket - Christies beach high School.

At least teh SAAFL has some standards as to where it allows finals to be played - SACA - Non-existent! Muppets!
