they'd be very hard to beat this year in div 2 i reckon.

Yeah, buts can really play when he is on. Hope his teammates aren't expecting too many handpasses though. Injuries hampered him a lot the last couple of years, anyone from Eastern know how he is travelling with those?

Ricky Butler is a gun midfielder but as Macca said - injuries have hurt him and does not like to handball much. Good pick up for Dusty though

First training session a few weeks ago was the first he'd ran since the end of last season, might not dominate so much with a lack of fitness in comparison to the likes of Z Millar C Taylor T Hamilton S Gatto etc, would still back Butts to get close to 50 off a Forward Flank.
With Kyle Reeves back and going for 3 div 2 flags in a row as well as not losing many from a side that handled div 1 footy more than capably, Modbury will be hard beat not and the Mcentee Bros at Uni will also be quality ins and see them challenge the top off the table.
Walkerville also with a few good ins could hold their own, I dont know a lot about the south/western teams but after the last couple of year PHOS cant be discounted, IMO no clear favourite, we'll just hav to wait for the games to begin i think.

well butts has never been massive on attendance before feb, but usually gets himself right come season start.
Gee, it's a pretty top quality on ball brigade. not sure if they have a new ruckman or not, but that would be the only let down to them having the best on ball brigade out of any div 1 side too (on paper that is of course).

ricky butler could play 20 kilos over his playing weight and he will still dominate massive pick up for the parkers, and good on em.

He played a couple of games for Berri last year and struggled a bit. The coach terminated his services
