Bugger that does hurt. Brayden will probably play at CHB and do ok but yeah not in the same class. Jarrod may come out after Mortlock or even the last round (wish, hope, pray)

overloaded wrote:Steiger what is happening in bowls at the moment? Finals ect.?

ol - Saturday pennants has one minor round match to go then finals. Lincoln Red are top and will probably stay there (go the Reds) and Lincoln White 2nd and these 2 sides can't be moved. Tumby Red 3rd and Cummins White 4th. Kirton White can move into 4th if they win and we beat Cummins White. Looks like another all Lincoln grand final but funny things happen as per last year. Stay tuned to Beebs and Reags show whom I think do a great job for EP Sport - as you would know

[quote="lincolnsdirtysecrets"]We also have Neil Seaman from the Mid West league. He is a very elusive forward and can finish, he is hard at it and will frighten a few defenders. He will go very well when he can get the 4th and 5th best defender as his opponent. quote]

Most forwards would want to do well if they are on 4th or 5th defenders on each teams I would imagine. How did Seaman play over in Wudinna last year? I didn't hear any fantastic reports.

Ebo will be fit by round 1 and the other lads are super fit, we go into the season full of confidence that we can make the four.
Marble Range and South are the two sides that will not play finals imho

Miller will not play at the BFC this season

Tasmens wont make top 2 everyone knows that apart for them and rangers will make finals thats for sure. However if we make the finals i believe we could do some damage, with the players we have and marty coaching us i wouldnt write us off. but we do have to get there first!

Isn't it great when everyone wants to play for a good club and is not worried about being paid for it.
Sarge also is looking very fit, 50 goals from him this year.

haha what a load of BS, after round 1 you'll look like a dick and he'll be playing B grade.

OK that was probably a bit harsh, Honestly he has good skills, but toughness and attack on the ball are definately not his strong points. And with your best side on the park he will be lucky to get a spot. Good guy, but a bit soft.

Hopefully us, but at the moment i think MRFC, MPFC and TFC will be the three front runners. I think the winner will come from one of these.

Hopefully with the start we've had, we can win some early games and put pressure on mallees for top spot come the last round.

From what I hear Rangers look better on paper than last year. The number of recruits is apparently impressively long and that goes for quality as well. I understand the following have been added (signed) to the team from last year which played in (somewhat surprisingly) and lost the grand final : Chris Puckridge, Tim Brooks, Matt Parker, Braden Calderwood, Haydn Parker, 1 or 2 ex Lincoln South A graders, a lad from NT plus some others I have heard but can't remember but are a mixture of A and B graders. Losses are Carl and Watto and I am not sure of anyone else. From that you would have to agree they have an improved list - can they go one better ??? but definitely top 4 material contrary to T07's thoughts.
Loss of Carl is huge ( i rekn he might return one day though) and Watto going to Elliston is not good cos it depletes our ruck options and the bloke was just starting to do good things.
MP -Can't comment but you would think finals and possibly grand final contender
Waybacks- Just a good club who generally get their **** together and will play finals
Tasmans - Apparently have recruited well BUT we hear this every year and in reality, and more often than not, the quality just lacks a bit (with a few notable exceptions) However putting them in for finals.
Prediciting a premier out of that lot is pure folly.
LS and Bostons - leaving them out of my top 4 but reserve the right to reassess after a couple of games
Mail medallist - the best player (in other words who knows)
MR - H Parker

i see you have strategically left out gerts there steiger?
very handy back flanker apparently and has played some high level football..
