Feels like we climbed mt everest today, belting the best club in country australia for the last 200 years. Tell me this rainbow, how can you guys be so "successful" when you havn't won any finals matches for 16 years! If you had any brains you might try doing something to brag about before actually bragging about it. NOB!!

Typical comment from a front runner who has come out from under his rock when its all done and dusted, where was this comment before the game?
We have a proud history unlike yourselves.
luck plays a big part in cricket and we had none of it yesterday or in recent years. we can only keep making the finals and trying.
We don't forget your sly remarks and sledging in the field either Sammy. Always a bit chirpier when your fielding with all your mates around you, aren't ya?

i watched the game on the weekend, and charlton were rather poor, two overs in and already dropped heads.
waybacks had a second rate team with a few B graders coming up, but never looked like losing.
almost embarrassing for charlton really.

No front running here checkside. that only happens at windsor avenue.

I was embarressed by our performance. We have a lot to work on and had no luck.

What has Sammy done this season that 'walks the walk'. I dont mind it if someone has the stats to back up their comments. How many bowling trophies has the guy won?

Rodda was the luckiest batmsen ever. Played and missed about 20 times.

I suppose we can all brag after a win BP.

Sammy and Rainbow...haha... both never been short of a word on the field and dont do a lot to back it up!

Great game of cricket which we won and it was worth it to see the look on budders face after bagging our top players over the last couple of weeks and again on saturday.

marble park what is happening with the salary cap this year? a PLFL official told me it will be scrapped. does this open up the way for the 'rich' clubs to dominate?

Jules had surgery yesterday to re-attach his achilles. 3 months in a boot then rehab from there I guess.

my predictions are

1 Marble Range, good group of kids with another year under the belt and players are very close to each other. The addition of 4 gun players will offset the loss of panzy boy.
2 Mallee Park, how can you not put them in the top 2. Hard to gauge but they should be there again.
3 Waybacks, will be competative but just lacking something as we saw in last years finals.
4 Lincoln South, everyone has written them off and with several big departures you can see why. fight out fourth with tasmans.
5 Tasmans, Everyones second team  . With a huge preseason and the cheque book open the roosters think this is there window of opportunity to play a finals match or maybe even two. The hype is huge and this will take its toll when they burn out by mid June. Some good young talent and they can push for top 4.
6 Bostons, Set to return to the dark past and a spoon beckons. There is no way known that this list will play finals football.
