What sort of team will you guys be fielding? Close to full strength? Should be a good night, as was last year when we played AV at home on Friday night.

About as full strength as we're gonna be at this time of year, prob got about 10-12 blokes unavailable for various reasons.

We'll go in with a squad of about 45...both sides we'll play will have a mixture of A's & B's in it, gotta reward the B graders who have put in the hard yards over summer plus we can't be showing all our cards this time of year with the whole amateur league in attendance :) should be a good night!

How's Brahma looking for Friday? Full Strength?

I would say we would have about 10 of our A Grade squad not playing due to a couple of injuries and cricket the next day (Sibbick & Browny wont play) - would expect probably between 40-50 to play - will probably split our's up with the B & C Grade playing in the early game and then A Grade squad topped up with those from the B Grade pushing to get into the squad

Looks like the teams for Div 7 have been confirmed. North Pines and Ovingham will go to the C2 competition as they will only have one side, with TTG and Modbury C and D Grade sides taking their place. Should be a great year in Div 7.

Its going to be great Big Daddy... it wouldnt be a year of footy without the Hawks and the Gullies facing off! Very unfortunate for Ovingham and North Pines and i hope they can get 2 side back up and running ASAP

Cant wait to come up against both TTG and especially Modbury. Have a had alot of good matches with two teams that I have alot of respect for over the years.
Welcome to div 7 Modbury and TTG and I agree that it will be a great year in Div 7

Should be awesome, and will make the trial match all that more interesting!
Agree that it's very unfortunate for North Pines and Ovingham. Lets hope they can consolidate this year and come back bigger and better in 2011.

Disappointing for Ovingham and North Pines I wish them well and hope they get back up in Div 7 sooner rather than later.

Can't say I'm complaining having both TTG & Modbury as the replacements though, both within 5 mins from my house :D

Does this mean we can finally get a Poll on the Div 7 thread now the teams are confirmed? FC I'm looking your way ;)

yes i am a bit disappointed that we are back to ne side this year but after the tumultuous time we had at the end of last year we'll work it out and know we know exactly what it takes to get two sides up and running.

the plan is to build this year to a point where by 2011 we can once again take a punt at two sides and join you blokes again here... i will still be keeping a close eye on the results for you blokes though don't you worry about that!!!

having said that my attempt at end of season's positions is like this... not knowing too much about a lot of sides and only hearing a little bit from around the traps...

Mawson Lakes GF winners
Tea Tree Gully GF bridesmaids
Glenunga
Modbury
Athelstone

Central United
Adelaide Uni
Flinders University
Sacred Heart
Angle Vale
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do
