Dutchy, I take your point about the "example" to our younger players. Mind you - they aren't exactly virgins to the amber fluid themselves.

I assume it was Brad Whitting who opened up. He'll love being called a loopy medium pacer LOL. He can be difficult due to his odd action, and if he finds his line he can trouble the best of batsmen - especially if they are left-handed.

Unless it was Rusty? Glasses? He'll love being called young...

From the HCA perspective I can't say much on the alleged spitting incident. Awaiting a report from both teams to compare with the umpire report. Ruling will be made before the end of the week.

OTH - that opening attack has, and will trouble many a batting order. You obviously have NO IDEA if you'd fancy making a truckload of runs against A Prior, S Tarrone, B Pistola. Apparently Pistola was not much slower than Prior, who incidentally was sick on the day. So Tarrone and Pistola took 7 or 8 between them.
Not sure who "Traque" is either. Quite an intimatre knowledge of the SCIBs then??
The 'spitting' incident must have had a lot of provocation, the batman in question has a good rep and I'm not sure what was said exactly. And it wasn't spitting per se.
And then there was some shoving, but that wasn't reported.

intersting comment by OTH, maybe he was a victim? mind you the gate bowling line up isnt exactly "home grown"

Surely it must have been Wells who started the pushing then, as it was junk time (2nd innings) and gate have pantsed them - I would have just said looka t the scorebook!

The comment was "bye bye Sweety,on ya bike" something like that. The comment comparing the batsmen to Shane Sweet, little man with big mouth. He then spat his chewy on Wells & then Wells went off.(Yes there was push and shove) It was F&*@#n 2nd innings stupidity.Aldgate and SCIB,s have a big rivalry that has gone on for years, but this was too far.
Bad day all round for SCIB's,definitely a rebuilding year witha lot of young blokes but we have been up for so long its time to give these younger guys a chance.
Not that far away, aldgates bowling wasnt that fantastic, our shots were bad.Young Pistola will be good, couple lucky wickets but definitelya prospect.

Yeah, bitter sweet for the Gate that result. I still think the Gate have a handy bowling line up, worked well for them last year (their bowling in general that is).
There is a rivalry and it did go too far by the sounds.
Come business end of the season, I'd say Aldgate will be in a better position to give send offs.

BCC yes there are a lot of quality players round for Under 21's. Guys such as Jaensch, Dunbar, Furber, Sinclair, Pistola, Bowes, Birrell, Bennett, Evans, Wotton, Kepa, Thomas, Wood, Minnie, Sutton will certainly make a strong side

Under 21 side if available would be:
Chipperfield (C) - can he still play?
Fleet
Jaensch
Dunbar
Sinclair
Evans
Pistola
Furber
Thomas (+)
Sutton
Parfit

Strong bowling with the likes of Parfit, Jaensch, Sinclair, Pistola, Sutton, Chipperfield and Furber and not a bad batting line up

Others to consider would be Gaunt from Mylor-not sure how old he is
Kepa from Basket Range
Birrel from Aldgate
Dave Bennet from Mt Lofty
Wood and Adams from SCIBS

In and Under - Dave Bennet would get a game ahead of nearly half those blokes in the Under 21's. He is a terrific bowler. Also is Matty J eligible having only played one game in the HCA?
FROM LAST YEARS TEAM...
Allan Cooper played and was the pick of the bowlers.
Chook from Onkas did well with the bat and ball.
Will Muirden made 90 odd runs in the second match.
Birrell and Miles both made runs.
Michael Warburton took a bag of wickets in the second match.

It was nothing in comparison to what he (the batsmen in question) has given out to us over the years,if u hand it out you have to expect to get some back.Thing being this bloke has never made a run against us either.
Everyone had a beer after the game and that was that, but if I was Wells I would be pretty dark. They gave him a big send off when he got out earlier, but he didnt turn around and spit on anyone.

allan cooper played last year? the bloke looks about 30. but a quality bowler. not sure about the sutton factor in the side but with hunsy one of the coaches of the side i guess he will sneak his way in. miles should play but evans has given the game away:

Fleet (? age)
Chippers (?)
Adams
Dunbar
Jaensch
Sinclair (*)
Miles
Furber
Thomas (+)
Pistola
Witt
Parfitt
- if you wana drink contact sutton
pretty handy batting side - going all the way down to 10... witt can hold a bat.. and the bowlers include: parfitt, sincers, jaensch, pistola, furber and chipperfield, asuming he and fleet are still eligable.wudnt write sinclair or jaensch off for the HCA side either!

BCC - i think OTH is refering to Staten Evans, not big cat Craig Evans. And the big Stato is in good form, already made close to 200 A Grade runs this season.
