reckon Dune does to.... gets a lot of victims by them laughing at his run-up and not concentrating. If only he'd been given a chance at SES.... last years B s premiers wouldnt have been Waybacks.

Another point to consider White_Line_Fever, would SES have complained if they had won the match?

Curious to know where all the sledging towards Charlton has gone??? e.g. rossco, "Charlton should roll over and die like we all expect!!!". Seems to be now that you all know we're here it's all stopped. You seem to be able to have a go at us while you THINK we don't know about it, but soon as you work out there a couple of us are here everyone goes shy. Some of you even chat and have a beer or three with us after games like we've all been best mates for years, WTF!!!! Grow some balls and tell us to our face! :x :x :x
As for all the bitching about the curator, unless you yourself can do a better job, (for the same payment) stop bloody sooking and act your age! This would have to be the best the pitch at Centenary has been for a long, long time, with more improvements planned over the xmas break.

Hi all. Long time reader, first time writier. Just curious to know why everyone seams to be bagging the chargers so much. Would have thought most people might have been happy to see them doing ok for a change. Just so u know guys i have no links to the chargers but do have soft spot for them and the red and blues. Good to see u waybackers make things interesting down the bottom to!!!
with all the talk of association teams a while ago how come no one mentioned young McCurry.I know hes still a colt but does that mean he can't be selected? Seen him play 3 times this year and reckon he's super.Takes wickets, makes runs and values his wicket.
Is there a rule which says u can pick a colt in senior henderson shield matches?

Haloman- got no idea who you are, probably nor you me, but seem to remember a couple of pages back biggles brought up idea of McCurry playing. Not sure if there's a rule saying he can't. Have also heard he maybe moving to Adelaide for school, and trying his luck at West Torrens.

Bystander, u seam to be all upset about nothing! I reckon if u charger boys spent as much time training as u do whinging you'd be unbeatable. As much as I like watching u boys play I'm starting to understand why your all copping so much crap. I'd love to see you guys play like you have been but without all the bullshit. Stuff like appealing when a batsman hands the keeper the ball that is lodged in his pad flap doesn't win respect. Honesty like Jimmy S after his catch against SES does!!! Look closer to home b4 getting stuck in to others for having an opinion and you'll see why some people arn't to thrilled. Seam to have just answered my own question too!!!!!!!!!! :?

finally an honest response which is straight to the point without beating around the bush. Keep up the good work Haloman. I think all the "stuff like appealing when a batsman hands the keeper the ball" ......etc like any other club is done by the minority rather than the majority, and it's this sort of thing that everyone remembers, rather than the majority like Jim's honesty on Sat. I reckon training twice a week should be enough, I hope!

WCP sorry for the late reply fella, been workin, electricians can't carry the internet around with them. On the tribunal decision last night fella I brought up that they are not allowed to change the ball and that you HAD voiced your opposition to them doing so but the final decision was made by the member who delivered the verdict. Tasmans again taking over the situation and doing as they please. In my opinion they shouldn't have changed the ball, Tod River had the same problem on Sat. and carried on with a wet ball and Locky should have known to ask yourself about the prospect of changing the ball instead of not asking at all. Voiced my opinion 3 times at the tribunal but was hounded down by remainder, including yourself bystander (SC).

And you charlton boys all know how much we all love you (NOT) We all drink after the game together execpt when we play you guys, due to the fact that you carry on like knob heads, appeal at the drop of a hat (Can't be LBW if it hits you in the stomach!) and now that you have won a couple of games before christmas, we don't want to hear about your so called iminant premiership and the two after that according to your coach! If the chargers were a race of their own then I'd put the hand up to be racist! Come to think of it, bogans are a race I suppose!!!!lol

Much as u make a good point WAD it seems you've got a pritty selective memory. For years all we've heard around this comp is how good Waybacks are and how you'll dominate forever. Sounds a bit like sour grapes to me!!!!!! and don't pretend you fellas don't go up for stuff you don't think is out ( or is that what that stupid "on your own" song was all about)
Watched you guys twice this year and both times your superstar captain has got himself out and cried about something. Umpires, Rainbow anything but the real reason he got out.
Maybe if you senior guys applied yourselves a bit (like your colts who play A grade do)
and stopped felling so bloody hard done by u might get something out of your season.
As for bogans I've seen a heap more of them on winsor avenue than I have at the Northern
(and thats a big call)

halo ... yes McCurry is intending to come and play for West Torrens next year, and as far as I know will be going to school in Adelaide. Came over to play on Sat but we got washed out.

Has the PLCA now set a precedent that a cricket ball may be changed whenever the fielding side isn't happy with it????? If you can't get the ball to swing can you change it for a newer one after 35 overs???

Sledging is still here, ! Now the Christmas minor premiership is yours, next step is can u hold on and make the four... ?
Waybacks have dominated the comp and will be premiers within the next three years, justing doing the re-building thing.

Good to see a bit of rivalry on here fellas.... but dont take it too far!!!
Could be some interesting games after Xmas if a few of you get fired up from the crap on here!! Feel a Bit of tension between Waybacks and Charlton.
Whats dickiebirds thoughts on all this? WHats happened to his roosters? dickie will choke on his Xmas turkey after the last fortnights results.
wcp... doesnt need a new ball after 35 overs eags... thats when he gets the oyster knife out the pocket and gives the seam a workover and the cough lollie comes out... class act.
Haloman - Chargers do like intimidating in the field as stated by Jimmy S at Oceans.... and umpires to.... scoob fell victim without a doubt to the constant barrage of appealing and the someones inability to say not out when in doubt.

If I had to pick a PL side it would be...
Coombe
Orchard
B Smith
Sargeant
Symonds
Riedy
Ryan
Newman
Strudwick
Taylor
Morgan
Great bowling line-up, batting depth only concern. Symonds for spin. Orchard to keep.
