Anyone know any different?
Can TTG afford him in 2010?
NM, I mentioned this back in November as it was told to me, all I got was denials.
Surely no club would have that kind of cash to spend per week, flights, cab, maybe a game fee. Thats a huge spend.
i have heard the same thing but i dont think he is asking for any more cash. return flights to darwin every week could be expensive...

Culpitt is a gun but that's a truck load to spend. Not sure if I agree with you on that though. Do you think he'd enjoy flying from Darwin every week without big compensation? Not saying it's happening or anything of course..

I'm good mates with Culpy and have it on very good authority he will only play for TTG in Adelaide in a fly down deal....its just the finer details that need to be sorted apparently!!

i wonder how that will affect his playing performance. i heard he was brilliant last year, but could the travelling take its toll on him.
are ttg also desperate to keep him due to not recruiting much else and losing the players they have?

Considering he is currently flying up to St Mary's on the weekend and getting in their best players, not sure how this will effect his performance....anyone that knows Culpy is that he lives and breaths footy...he definately wont be underdone doing this!!
As for TTG being desperate...cant comment, but yes they have lost a few, but from what I have heard have picked up a fair few to replace them as well....I know that Culpy has been offered more money by other SAAFL clubs to play here....it would cost TTG stuff all compared to that to have him come down from the NT!! I wouldnt dismiss the notion if I was at TTG!!

No great loss.....ended up in their B Grade towards the end of the year last year and was not much chop!!!! The new club had better weigh up pros and cons!!!

Motley can play. Had heaps of trouble late in the year with a leg injury. I think he thought it was a calf injury for ages and it turned out to be a broken leg. So that set him back a fair bit. Played really well in the SAAFL game against southern league last season and had a very 2008. Would be a handy pick up
