Words of Wisdom just an opinion Mate..I love playing against the pongy guys they are very competive and I know guys like Faggs, Wal and Tilt arent playing this year but its just frustrating they are in and out of A grade when it suits them it seems...

HW yeah Im hoping We have enough on the board against Dingy this week, but with B. Garrard in red hot form you can never tell.....

Yeah Willunga arent doing too bad...But I think they still Lack some batting options especially if peek gets out early and Elliot takes 40 over to get over double figures..But they are probably the best form side at the moment....

The Bgrade side has got alot of juniors in it and from all talks are enjoying the challenge of playing Bgrade ,the c2 had alot of outs for second week and only being allowed two replacements they had to forfiet.

Goolwa B's have fielded a young side all year. Rob Lose is the oldest by far, the closest to him is 22.

The team that is currently playing against Aldinga consists of:

Rob Lose
1 x 22
2 x 18
1 x 17
2 x 16
2 x 15
2 x 14

How'd pongy go against that side then..

And you can't say they would be one of those teams in which would struggle....

Anyway some very interesting results on the weekend and all teams this year have a shot at winning the holy grail now I would think....

I like Compass Gold for flag favourites if they get there players back
Also Willunga are a massive threat and are going along nicely....

How is the club piss weak? Is it not ok for Magpie, Rowns, & Skater to play B grade when they're all over 40? Watch when Skater stops making runs ( normally happens around Christmas ) & see how they go then? Pongys C's have already forefitted a game this year so theres not enough numbers to fill & A grade as well.
If Pongy had to put in an A grade then what happens if they were short one week?? grab a player from the C's to fill in, Trev Connor or Bruce Rowley maybe?
I know they have an A grade but Willunga have J.Binns, Priza & Milford playing B's because thats what they want to do, i dont see what the big deal is??

Aldinga shoe in for the premiership! Best batter and best bowler in the comp at the moment.. 8) the form team. Will flog Districts - no bowlers, Ifould wont know when to put himself on coz Bryce will be hitting em round the park all day hence wont bring himself on.

Yeah no worries a.chucka.... districts no bowlers? pretty sure when we played them they had plenty of bowlers all capable of taking wickets... soo they arent to be under-estimated! brice is in red hot form but if he fails bye bye aldinga!
with bowlers like:

Ifold
Petruci
Galletley
Difabio
Wilson
Duncombe

also young pistilli after his bowling in the u/21s!

i reckon mclaren districts are back...and gonna walk over aldinga unless!

Clearly haven't played a lot of A Grade over recent seasons then Chucka... you seem to know a lot about the B's though...

Offcutter how'd you come up with that assumption, just looked through previous posts and chucka hasn't really said much about B Grade. Besides Ifould & a couple of others your side is young and relatively inexperienced so he probably could make such a statement IMO. Maybe you know who it is which would explain why you jumped on him out of nowhere.
Being from Districts can you verify Ifoulds dismissal on Saturday, I was told that he was completly bamboozled by Garrards "Nibbler" which he has been working on with the great Simon Binns. Ifould was so stunned by such a delivery he just stood there and let the ball demolish his off stump, no shot offered. Is there any truth to this?

Don't think I jumped on him. Merely suggesting that all those players have been playing for a couple of years now, in A Grade.. would seem strange that Chucka has not heard of "a few of them", but is happy to bag McLaren's lack of bowling depth. His commentary on the Pongy vs Willunga result would indicate some knowledge of B Grade results / teams .. or is he just going off of mycricket stats?..

And yes, he let a straight one go and off stump out of the ground! Good to see other's get amongst the runs on Saturday though.

Yep, fair enough. But all & sundry would have heard about a team being rolled for 20odd.

Opening stand of 0 for 100+ for you guys would have been pretty to watch as an incoming bat. Goodluck on Saturday.

Defiantely, all the young guys have shown talent already this year, a couple are very 'rowdy' like with the bat and some decent bowlers.

Myponga were bowled out for 222 by this side but at the end of day one lost 3 early wickets which made the chase extremely difficult. In the end bowled out for 133 with young Josh Shepherd (14) top scoring with 37.

There's your first assumption offcutter... 'jumped on him'
Second assumption that I only play B's and that I even play in GSCA.
Thirdly, pumping up the mighty sharks rather than bagging the bottom placed districts
ahh yes... mycricket.. no where to hide for those who talk themselves up!
I'll assume this tho, you must play for Mclaren...
