How can a 25 year old ex captain go in a draft, say where he wants to go basically and be left until that clubs first pick, I smell a very dirty rat, has more chance of playing the next 6 to 7 years of senior AFL footy than any picked before him unless he picks up a major injury

Yeah coverage is useless, pathetic, disgraceful. Every pick should've been done like 11-17.

Adelaide have one remaining "live" pick, at pick 61 (having used pick 74 on retaining Brodie Martin). Port have used all "live" selections.

Agree with the first part of you sentence I've highlighted in bold. The second half is pretty ridiculous. Most of the players picked before him will be playing the next 6 or 7 years.

Same with 5AA. The amount of times Ive heard them say Port picked up John Butcher would have to be up to 50 while completely ignoring the rest of the draft.
