Draw for season 2010

Talk on the national game

From a St Kilda perspective:

Good: Double up against 4 teams that missed finals, others being Essendon and two teams we have the wood on, Adelaide and Collingwood. No trip to York Park.
Bad: 6 trips interstate (although two games in Adelaide so can’t complain about that). Only 2 games at the MCG. A lot night footy (16).

StKFC- 58 years..

We travel to Subi twice.

The toughest run seems rounds 19-22 where we play Bulldogs (home), Lions (Gabba), Collingwood (MCG), St Kilda (home)

Yep, I reckon Crows offices would be very chirpy this morning. Apart from the last month, the rest of the draw is very favourable.

Of course they were, the fixture deals with March-August....

Ive seem and heard some talk about Collingwoods draw, but thats pretty much normal a normal draw for them. It all comes back to the deal with the MCC and finals.

Anyway my point is have a look at Essendons draw. 19 games in melbourne. They go one better than Collingwood ;) the rivalary continues!
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards

Travel to Sydney, Adelaide and Subiaco though and also play all of last year's top 4 twice so not the best draw. Also have Hawthorn twice who will be looking to make amends for 2009. Tough year for the bombers.

It's because I don't have a short memory that I am taking these cheap shots my friend. I think we are a very good chance to be about the place next year and maybe even the year after that. So we've lost Harley and Mumford big deal. As I have said many times we will be a force until Scarlo gives it away.

Yeah but look at who they have to play twice. Bombers won't be in the eight next year.

For the good of us all I hope you're wrong, the prospect of the 'happy pussy' stalking these boards for another couple of years isn't appealing at all. ;)

Was watching Sports Tonight on onehd and one of the reporters said that both Collingwood and Essendon had the toughest draw out of any team. Trying to work out how this is so. :?

Very happy with the Crows fixture. Would be surprised if we can't make the top 4 with the draw we've got.

Obviously not one to do your homework, Dutchy.
In every one of the last 5 seasons, Port has played North twice.
In 2005 we beat you in the Elimination Final by 87 points.
In 2007 we beat you in the Prelim Final by 87 points, I think Port would be happy to play North Melbourne in any final, any time.
Minor Round ? Haven't checked recently but I suspect we have about a 50/50 win loss record over the journey now which isn't too bad as we lost about the first 8 matches we played against North upon entering the AFL....

It was Sports Tonight.
