I got an sms today saying that our opening bowler and our opening batsman have both left to a turf club, that is going to hurt.

Might have something to do with always stating your a one person team. Not something that new players really want to hear!!!

Just a thought!!!!

I agree with the above post, although Sibbs is a great playerr at Lodge there must be 10 others players that contibute to the TEAM.

I also heard you Lodge were chasing a div 2 keeper, to no avail.

I'm not sure, Pete said that he wants to start with him in the C's, we'll see how things pan out.

I was very surprised, they are very good mates with last years captain, I haven't seen a clearance yet and there is still some chat going on in the next couple of days.

Have you appointed a captain for this year, I would of thought last years would be a shoe in if Raed didnt want it

They trained the week before last, haven't given a reason as yet, yes it was unexpected. One of them missed most of last season through injury, his pace will be lost, the other hasn't exactly set the world on fire with his batting but is still pretty handy at the top of the order.
He doesn't score big scores, but he values his wicket and looks solid.

Shaun will have some sort of captaincy role, he has come a long way in the past 2 years. James Morris will have some valuable input aswell, we haven't assigned captains yet.

2 A grade walk up starters, 4 that should be around the mark. If Newman plays it will make things pretty interesting.
