Is this is all they can seriously dish up for the supporters ???
If they can not tell us why that they can not get a trade to improve the list and can not get something for a player like Skipworth if some one shows interest - just tell us that no one wants to deal with us.
It would make me feel alot better !!!
Maybe the week in Melbourne was a nice paid holiday !!!

Crows football operations manager John Reid said: “There was some interest in Hayden Skipworth, but that did not eventuate. Hayden will remain on our list at this stage. Any development regarding adjustments to our list will not occur for a week or so.
“The Club did show interest and endeavoured to negotiate the services of Joel Patfull from Brisbane, however that could not be satisfactorily resolved.â€
The Adelaide Football Club will enter the NAB National Draft on November 26 with picks 14, 32, 48 and 64.

I met an official from a Victorian Club at a friend's dinner party once, and he said it's common knowledge amongst other clubs that certain people from Adelaide are hard to deal with during trade week. And if a club has a slight or vague interest in a trade they don't bother as it's not worth the aggravation caused by this certain individual.
I don't want to name this certain person let's just say he couldn't get a League game at South when South's league team couldn't win a chook raffle. He also ran around like Henny Penny screaming about the evils of the AFL when The Crows first formed, but now seems more than happy to make his living from it.

except for Freo, Richmond, StKilda, Sydney and WB, most clubs have seem to make a decision this years draft is the way to go, Crows, Power, Melb, Kanga's, Carlton, Eagles, Cats, Bombers, Brisbane non of these clubs added traded players to their roster
look at what Freo and the Tigers had to give away to gain Tarrant and Polak, in a year where the draft is dubbed the Superdraft, clubs are obviously given more weight to drafted players then recycled players
the other issue is the trading systems, too many trades do not eventuate because of unrealistic demands
obviously the crows showed some interest in Nash, Faulkner, Bell and Patfull during the week but they were not prepared to trade 1st or 2nd round picks for these blokes, nor should they, depending on contract situations players like faulkner or russell may become availabe through the pre-season draft
November 25 is the time recruiting officers earn their keep
