A punting preview from the G/Room, thought it was worth sharing here

Bullies/Brisbane - Bullies look the goods here, I think Brisbane are shot, they have had a great year under Vossy but tonight it ends. Bullies got pretty close last week after being outplayed and outcoached IMO. They are still a real threat I believe and should record a big win tonight I feel, Ill be taking Bullies at the line

Collingwood/Adelaide - Well ive pulled this game apart from a statistical point of view, lets start with the Crows - as impressive as they have been you can argue they havent had a win over a decent opponent since Round 1, they have lost their last 6 encounters against the Top 4 teams this year. It was only a month ago Collingwood took them apart on their home deck. Crows form at night is also a significant worry, they are 4-5 at night this season with the 4 wins coming against Essendon, Freo, Richmond and the Hawks. An 8 day break might seem a good way to prepare for a game but the Crows have lost 2 games this year coming off 8 day breaks. Collingwood on the other hand have a 6 day break, this shouldnt be too much of an effect on them considering they are 4-1 off 6 day breaks this year (4-1 ATS importantly) and 4-0 off 6 day breaks leading into a night game. 3 of these wins have been at night at the G. Only loss this year off a 6 day break was Carlton in Round 6. Collingwood's night form is impressive win 10 wins from 13 night games, with the 3 losses coming against Geelong, Saints and Hawks. Their overall form reads 12 wins from the last 15 games (same ATS) and havent lost 3 games straight all year. Add to that I like the In's for Collingwood, a much better "team" this week than last. All in all I still cant believe the Pies are underdogs on their own home ground, considering the above Im still shaking my head, the +8.5 line sounds unreal considering this should be a low scoring affair. Ill be having a nice slice of that

Good Luck all

Dogs V Lions - If, and I mean if Black,Power,Drummond get enough of the ball to Brown and Bradshaw ( although Brown will have Lake oto deal with ) I think that the Lions can make this one tight for most of the night. If the Bullies running brigade get on top they will have too many forward sorties for the Lions defence to hold. Many are understating this game as a given Bulldogs win,I expect them to win but I would thin kat half time the game will be up for grabs still. Bulldogs by 22 points.

Pies V Crows - I have an odd feeling about this one. Most of the week I have had a Collingwood win in my mind but numerous changes week in week out have unsettled the line up and IMO it brings the sides back together. For all the hype about Adelaide ( rightly so, they are on fire ) this game more than any other might just be won or lost in the coaches box.Neil Craig pits his Finals demons against the most ruthless coach in the game and you can bet your bottom dollar that Mick Malt has something up his sleeve here as far as game style goes. It will be Collingwood around the boundary the long way home trying to shift Adelaides zone against Adelaides current down the middle all out attack.

Im sure Craig doesn't get nervous, but this one must just about be his toughest assignment yet. On paper, Adelaide win easy, in all reality it will be a cracking close game. Collingwood by 10 points or Adelaide by 55.

Collingwood.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

Agree with that call Booney - If Malthouse wins the chess game the 'woods will win by 2-3 goals in a slog fest, if Craigy sorts his moves out then Adelaide will crack the game open and their current attacking potency will see a 5+ goal win. What has old Malthouse got up his sleeve, that is the question…...

They are some very big ins for the Lions. I've been saying since about May that Brisbane are the genuine smokies this year - they play the MCG fairly well and not so sure about the Bulldogs on the same ground. Won't be at all surprised to see the big upset in this game at all.
Can you guess where I'm calling from, the Las Vegas Hilton...

Dogs v lions think this will be tighter than people think, i like the inns for the lions and makes them alot stronger side than last week.. i put a $100 bet on lions 20-39 at $10

Pies v crows Also like the inns for us this week and makes us a stronger side.. also put $100 on this game 20-39 at $5.25..
