I have been surprised by the amount of criticism he has copped over his time in the AFL, sure some is warranted but i am certain he hasn't been coached well, by that i mean not played in a great position.

Well done lads, top scalp .. I reckon your boys are a bit like Collingwood (although a way behind them) .. On your night with legions the of fans you have you can beat anyone, but the consistency needed for 3 or 4 big wins in a row, fuggetaboutit (for now)

Correct wyc. He is a defensive player and we have been trying to play him on a hff. He gets a bit nervous towards goal. Defensively he is very hard at it, very quick and very good at laying a tackle. Think a hbf will suit him much more and hopefully Ratts leaves him there now.

Yep in the little time he spent with the bloods he always looked better off a HBF or the Wing. He is deceivingly tall and very quick so should be good off a HBF. I wonder if Ratten would like what he saw tonight enough to leave him there and let him settle into that spot.

Indeed. Have to eat my words again this season. Before this last 6 weeks in which we've won 5 games I thought we were certain to be the ones to drop out of the 8.
Now we're a real possibility of jagging a home final.
To win at least 1 final would be great for this group and if the top 4 stays the way and we finish 5th or 6th we won't have to travel out of Victoria for the duration of the finals series.

Last three rounds will be very interesting with all the results this weekend being surprising, except the Saints.
By the way, in the above comment I was just being flippant, anything could happen and there's no guarentee of any positions below third in the 8. Not getting ahead of myself.

I went to the game the other night, Carlton looked pretty good, glad i chucked a few dollars on them @ $4.20 the night before :)
