Sunday mail "rating" for the GF

Postby stan » Sun Oct 01, 2006 5:07 pm

What game was Michael McGuire watching?

He rated Ted Richards a 4 saying that "The former bomber's fairytale came to a crashing halt as he had little impact of the grand final"

Now really what game was he watching.

I have never seen Richards play a better game. A six at least.

Clearly the best player on the ground for Sydney, when his time to step up happened, he did it... I think if Sydney won the game, he would have been a very big chance for the Norm Smith..

Obviously wasn't watch the same game as I was...
Port Power has 16 years history at Football Park...

The Port Magpies have 40 years history and the two shall never be confused or combined

I was saying during the last quarter he's a chance for the Norm Smith. He was brilliant.

I couldn't believe the comment and rating he got, what a joke.

Spot on.His efforts during the latter part of the third quarter, and early stages of the last across half back thwarted many WCE attacks and I thought he would have been worthy of a 6 or more.
