I think your being very harsh there joker. He's actually a pretty good bloke, and a lot of Crows supporters agreed with his comments (myself included) in that article. He writes very 'tongue in cheek' (displayed again in this Geelong article) which a lot of people take the wrong way.

He seems to be writing a series of articles on different clubs supporter bases, I for one am finding his observations quite enjoyable.

And he's more than qualified to write about the unique Adelaide football culture, having lived here for a while.

He's not your typical Victorian footy journo who knows stuff all about what's going on outside of the 'home of football', having also lived in Queensland. He has a broad picture view of the game.

a true write up on the greatest club and team of all. We Cats fan support the club through the hard times and the good times. When Geelong Football Club is doing well the City is doing well. 2007 was a great year the City of Geelong Went Nuts, imagine footscray when the doggies win one.

More gold from John Harms there.

Here's an article he did a couple of years back on a day at Footy Park - Port v Richmond. Also a great read.

It's a well known fact that all Geelong supporters will go to heaven and there won't be a Hawthorn jumper in sight. ;)

He played a few games for Adelaide Lutheran when he lived in Adelaide.

His book "Loose Men Everywhere" is a good read. It details his life as Geelong supporter growing up in Qld.

Tea Tree Gully library has a copy in case youre keen!

His article on Saints supporters a few weeks back was also pretty good.
