Chris Masten earned the nomination this round.

You go to a Crows game and this is 75% of the supporters isn't it?

Far out, that is terrible news indeed ... Seems a bad round for the youngsters with Freo's Tim Ruffles suffering the same fate.

Incredibly cruel blow for two young kids trying to forge a career, hope they both manage swift and successful recovery.

Terrible news.

The poor kid must be absolutely devastated.

Cannot believe this, just a massive shock when I opened the AFC website and saw this story. How shattering for the young man as he had just been elevtated and was playing great footy.

He played out the game, and played well, extremely rare. Reminds me of Lenny Hayes.

Hopefully it's a 'clean' rupture and he'll be back by mid 2010.

The style of injury i am sure NFC is referring to not the same sort of player. IIRC Hayes injured his knee and played another week or two before being told he had ruptured his ACL.

Exactly. Hayes injured his knee in the first quarter, got it checked out, then played out the game.
