FOOTY MARATHONS

I used to love staying up watching channel 7 on grnad final eve, they used to have various footy shows in review to the season and previewing the g/f and then the footy marathon would start up around 10:30pm, it was long late night of reminiscing.

is it just me or are there others out there that miss the footy marathon????

I'm another who looked forward to seeing them and trying to stay up all night and all of the next day and try to watch all of the match.

i mean there was a time when i would doze off but somehow i would always wake up when they played the 89 g/f at about 1:30am!!!!!!!!! oh the

just checked the tv guide and channel 7 has 2 hours of great g/f's at 11:10pm tonight!!!

pity it was 7 hours

Fox Footy starts their AFL marathon tonight @ 11 and will finish @ 9 am.

Hopefully channel rex will start the footy marathons up again next year as I think they own the rights to alot of the old game footage. Yes I used to love watching the old 70s and 80s GFs too.

Most likely, but it will be interesting if they show any of the last five years,
especially the close '02,'05 & '06 GFs.
