Reakon the Weagles are just a little bit more hungry than the Swans.

Sheer force of will got them back into the game against Adelaide in the third quarter of the prelim. They knew it was now or never and lifted accordingly.

Expect a similar attitude from the first bounce tomorrow...

I find it interesting that the Swans wont be training at all while they are in Melbourne. Usually teams train after the parade.

WC by 8 pts.

Unlike last year all WC midfield are reletively fit i.e. no major njury clouds hanging over them (Wirrapunda plays down back), therefore unlike last year expecting Kerr, Braun, Judd, Cousins et al. to play full games and stretch the Sydney midfield. The Loss of Kerr in the 1st half was the crucial moment in last years GF for mine.

Expecting the "journey started last year" to be compelted i.e revenge is a strong motivating factor..... This is the game WC have been setting themselvs for all year.......
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Sydney by 7 points

Eagles to lead all day, then be over-run in the last quarter.

Ryan O'Keefe to win the Norm Smith - 25+ possession & 4 goals.

i think SYDNEY will take the title again.

Young Ablett to fire up and play the game of his life.

I think the EAGLES travelling over the last 4 - 6 weeks will take its toll.

That idiot David Schwartz has selected a grand total of ZERO winners in the finals series so far. He selected West Coast so I reckon it will be Sydney Swans by 11 points.

Another major factor will be rest and recovery of the last few weeks.

Swans...away final, week off, home final..recovery in the surf saturday afternoon, Granny.
Weagles..home final, soft home final, tough away final, recovery back in Perth sunday morning at earliest, Granny.

There's not much between these two sides and that lot could be crucial. West Coast were allowed to run against the Cows but that won't happen on the G tomorrow.

Go the Swans.

regards,

REB

Dutchy

the crows lost to the eagles by 10 pts with the eagles last goal in the dying seconds of the game, the swans lost by 1 pt

during the year, the crows won 2 more games, finished higher on the ladder, not to mentioned has beaten the swans 5 out of the last 6 meetings

i am not taking anything away from the swans, they are able to get the maximum out of their list, but to suggest that the crows would of been BLOWN away by the swans is a bit laughable

the standard of the game SD was intense and WCE got out to a lead and should have blown Sydney away but it didnt happen, sheer guts and team effort brought them back into it...I believe the crows would not have been able to put up a reasonable fight against either if they played like that

agree the game was close and intense and a great GF but my opinion is the top 3 sides are pretty close, both the Eagles and swans have develop a great rivary, while the eagles at the moment have the weeod on the crows, and the crows seem to have the wood on he swans

from a footy fan and a crows fan i would of liked the crows to play the swans either this year or last year in the finals, then we would of had a true gauge on where the crows sit

Dutchy, this is not coming from me, but living in Sydney, believe me swans suppporters are pretty stoked that they have not had to play the crows in a final, their is a very high respect for the AFC here, they do recognise it is a team they have not been able to get over in recent years
