the eagles keep winning against the cows, just as sydney keep winning against the eagles.

if sydney can shut down the midfield and play it like last year then they can win again and i think they will win again.

West Coast, not with any confidence or logic :-k
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.

Swans look better going into the GF this year than 2005.

A more balanced team than West Coast, the Swans also have more firepower up forward.

Hunter has to start up forward this week for the Weagles, surely?

My (beer) gut tells me the Weagles by 11 points.

What kind of show will Judd, Cousins and Kerr put on this week?

Sydney too strong

Postby SCD » Thu Sep 28, 2006 7:51 pm

If Sydney can get equal supply up forward then they kick a big enough score to win.. west coast are vunerable to the big forwards like Hall and he will be the difference (his form is great) - think the Swans are just playing too good and the Eagles don't handle the hard physical pressure, as seen by the 4 -5 goal starts they give the Swans every time... but they keep coming back when the game opens up a bit.
Port Power has 16 years history at Football Park...

The Port Magpies have 40 years history and the two shall never be confused or combined

I agree Eagles for me, but I don't put too much faith in side smarting from a GF loss the previous year, if this was the case WWT would of bounced back against the dogs by now, it can also have the opposite effect, it becomes a monkey

last week the crows were able to close down the space for all except for 15 minutes of the game at still lost, so Sydney will need to shut the eagles midfield down for the entire game, if you lapse for 15-20 minutes the eagles midfield will create enough opportunity to kill you, this may be the difference in the end
