Nahas

Talk on the national game

Nahas

R Nahas has been a great pick up for Richmond this year IMHO. He killed SA when playing for Victoria (twice IIRC) and as a mature draft pick, he has to almost be the highlight of Richmond's season. Too old for Rising Star I think, but could arguably be the best first year player going around atm. Thoughts of others?

Nahas has been very good, others:

Rich is the stand out, Hill for the Dockers looks a player and Dangerfield is starting to show why the Crows rated him so highly, also Otten has been impressive, there are others but I can't think off hand.

Ziebell, Rich, Dangerfield.....
All came out of the draft as 18 year olds or thereabouts.

Nahas - mature aged pick who whilst playing in a team that is nearly as good as North Melbourne ( ) is certainly playing consistently and doing his job pretty well.

Dutchy, I had Ziebell in my dream team and was definitely impressed with him btw, but he is gone for more or less the season now. Have seen less of Rich but all looking good there. Dangerfield still very raw but has shown natural talent. Watch that get knocked out of him in the next 12 months!

Nahas has been excellent, one of the few positives to come out of our year. Jayden Post has looked a beauty too in his first two games.

Grimes for Melbourne is another besides the already mentioned who's been pretty good, Broughton at Freo has been OK, Joseph at Carlton has been a surprise, and one of the best has been Liam Picken at the Dogs. Hasn't got a lot of media coverage as he's not as flashy as Naitanui, Watts etc, but has been excellent in the tagging roles and cemented his spot in that side.

Liam Anthony at North. Saw his first game against the Bulldogs and was impressed - looked like he belonged at that level. Apparently he has continued that form.

Yes is a gun, apparently was more impressive than Rich in the WAFL last year

Anthony, Ziebell, Ross, Smith, Campbell, Adams, Warren, Hansen, McMahon, Swallow, Urquhart, Wright

Some very exciting times ahead for the Roos with these kids, Richmond havent got anywhere near this depth of talent...this is the reason Bucks will go to North 8)

Standard quote for a lot of teams. I'm not sure all those you've quoted are going to be topliners. But I agree that I would choose North over Richmond if I was Bucks.

The comparison was for Richmond, nothing else...

IMO -

Topliners - Anthony, Ziebell, Ross, Smith (if body gets right)
Above Average 150+ gamers - Campbell, Adams, Warren, Hansen, McMahon, Swallow, Urquhart, Wright
