this weeks crowds

Postby bayman » Thu Jun 18, 2009 7:24 pm

with the media hype talk that tomorrow nights sturt v glenelg clash will get 10,000-15,000 can the 4 games get to at least 25,000 for the round ?

my predictions would be (in round figures)

adelaide oval 8,000-10,000

alberton 4,000-6,000

elizabeth 5,000-7,000

noarlunga 2,200-3,200

so maybe about 20,000 to 26,000

what do all the experts out there think ? can we get to 25,000 total for the round ?
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

put your crowd figures in the "BUNS FOR CROWDS" thread ;)

I dont think Noarlunga will get anywhere near 3000 ? Both sides have poor support. Probably 1500 for that. Glenelg is away so that will detract from their crowd . Port V Norwood about 5 - 6000 you would hope but not confident and about 4000 for the Elizabeth.

If Port v Norwood can't attract 8-10,000 fans at Alberton well you magpie supporters are a disgrace & arn't true Magpie supporters. ( front runners )
When everythings going well Magpie supporters come out in droves & over the years i've seen it first hand throughout the season, alot of people you don't see throughout the year rock up to premiership night celebrations at Alberton & act as like they've been there all year when they havn't.

Rest assured ca, you will be wrong.

Sadly however I think you'll be wrong on the other side of 6000. :(

Agree, reckon about 6500.
Probably around 4500 at Elizabeth, 3600-3900 at Alberton, and 1800 at Noarlunga if cold and fine, 1300 if cold and wet.

Mate not exclusive to your club unfortunately! Altough we haven't had a Premiership since 1997 the amount of people you see after a Final makes you think "where have you been?". As angry as it gets me if the club can get a few dollars out of it then I can live with it.

With the benefit of hindsight, unfortunately not Bayman

Only 6500 odd last night and as I look out the window atm, its absolutely pissing down.

Pity, I'd have agreed with you if the Gods had been kind.
