Race for the Coleman

Postby nuggety goodness » Mon Jun 15, 2009 1:17 pm

Looking at the list today i see

Fev 41.33
Riewoldt 40.23
Brown 40.20
Franklin 38.22
Roughead 35.16
Stevie J 33.26 (with a game in hand)
Tredders 32.15
Bradshaw 30.8
Le Cras 30.14

it is a great race for the Coleman this year and TBH, i'd like to see Stevie J get up there! kicks 5 this week and gets right up there and close to the action.

but in all honesty who do you reckon is gonna win it this year? and how many will they kick? obviously no 100's this year but mid 80s maybe?

my guess would be Brown on 74

realistically wouldn't think anyone but the top 4 would win it. and wondering why John Anthony has such short odds...has less goals than Tredrea, Bradshaw, LeCras, Koschitzke and Betts!?!

Probably due to Collingwood's large supporter base.

It's probably not a bad idea to put a few small wagers on some outsiders, it only takes one big bag to get your nose out in front.

Also because he kicks so few points.
Greater accuracy ratio could mean he needs less shots to hit the top.

You're kidding yourselves boys.
He has got talent, although I grant you that he has probably overachieved on the expectations of him.

And NG, no way do I condone you agreeing with something SS said ;)

Or lack of brains, work ethic, morals and respect for his team-mates.
 But he will still win it.

I wouldn't be backing Fev. His role has changed and Carlton are spreading the goal kicking around this year.

I'd go for Franklin still.....

10 to go... IMO too hot and cold, may kick a bag or two but won't get the 3-5s each week to make sure of it.
