There will be now a massive plunge on goody and shorten right up and then wont even finish in the top 5. The bookies make these scams up just so punters loose their dough

& Im happy to be proven wrong on this and he does win it

Agreed. IIRC there was a similiar leak last year (or the year before) with Scott West getting 27 votes and being a DEAD CERT!
Would love Goody to get Charlie but don't reckon he will.
Also can't see two Bulldogs players polling 41 votes between them. Seems unlikely after all they finished the H&A season 8th.

Nah Bulldogs players never get overrated by umpires on Brownlow night! Wynd, Librartore, Hardie LOL. West and Johnno could go 1-2 with Cross in the top five as well.

Damn it's hard to pick this year.

I wouldn't care WHO wins it really - all the names up there deserve to be so.
I'd like Westie to win won. But Brad Johnson has had a belter this year.

Goodes is a freak. Like the old ruck-rovers of old... LOVE watching him play.

Travis Johnstone will poll well - which most people haven't mentioned.
Won a few games did Melbourne - never know.

Brock McLean is a catcher too - the umps have liked him in the few short years he's been in the competition.

As for Goodwin - will it will be stealing if he wins it I think.

In fact I'd put money on him not being the Crows highest poller.... (?) Maybe.

Goody's first 14-15 rounds were outstanding, whilst Goodes had a slower start to the year but gained momentum with each outing

Brock missed 5 games and had 3-4 below par games so that will cost him, Travis Johnson, not sure if historically if he polls votes

It is also hard to go past Judd as well - he has definitely been outstanding once again this season. Like Diss said it is a hard one to pick. I personally hope Goodes does take it home.

Also, was interesting to see that Jarman said in his article in the Advertiser on Monday that he thinks Brendon Lade will win it. Wouldn't have thought so, but in the 8 games that Port Adelaide did win, he would be expected to poll very well. He may have also picked up a vote or two in the couple of close games Port had towards the end of the season. Maybe not such an outrageous statement from Jars when you stop and think about it...

TJ polls well from memory.
And Brock does too -but I reckon they'll be one-two in Melbournes voting.

Throw Cameron Bruce into the mix as well - he had a great run mid-season for about 5 rounds.

If Bruce could put together a full season of consistent form, then he would have a Brownlow, no question.

If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

Im sure its the Bookies that spread these rumours - the procalimed winner is always a non vote getter therefore the bookies are happy to risk them (Goodwin has historically not polled well) to lay off some of the money they have taken on liekly winners West or Goodes....Westie for me.

Also Edwards at $4-75 to be the top crow is tremendous value (Goodwin $1.18!!!!!)
