I've been in Sydney when AFL finals are there, honestly no one really gives a shit. Maybe 5% of the population has some interest, but I guess that's 175,000 out of 3.5 Million :lol:

last two years all of sydney have given a shite because of the swans success, but sydney with all sports follow winners, whether it's football, soccer or basketball, support is strong whilst the teams are winning, the test will come when the swans have an average year, sydney town has a habbit of jumping off pretty quickly

still no lights at manuka and they have done away with footy park at woden.
all rooms and grandstands have done a kangsroos (hooligans burnt it to the ground) and the grass on the oval is like the rough on a golf course. word has it that it will be made into a carpark :D

you just reminded me of something in your last post.
weston creek have folded after last game this season and are being rebirthed as the weston or woden panthers or something like that :D
