But I'd like to know what was up with that situation at the end of the third quarter... Schell marks, kicks to Gowans, didn't seem to be touched on the way or hit the ground before he took the grab and it did seem to travel the required distance. But the ump saw fit to call play on seconds before the siren.
What was that? Someone please clarify if they saw what happened.

But I must pick Aerie up on young corbet he burnt the ball running into an open goal about 15 metres out 45 degree (there abouts) and passed and the siren went .And another bad turn over like a rabit caught in a cars headlights Daniel on the wing something one should not see on a SANFL oval .

Yeah, Miles did well no doubt, but bet you, as I, were a bit anxious about the move.
Yeah, that was not a good bit of play by Daniel, but thought he had a good crack.
BTW, with all the players we have tried numerous times (and questioned by some Eagles supporters) why do you think Papps, whose been around for a while, was only given one game, in which he was serviceable?

Centrals were very poor with skill by hand and foot and of course, McGregor was the difference in the end shifting up forward.
Dissapointed as a Centrals fan that they lost their first game of the year but they will get better and have some quality players on the sidelines at present.
For those that listen to 5RPH and LifeFM, Eagles fan Phil Herden and myself (Centrals), decided to have a little bet on the outcome of this game earlier in the week.
Let me just say that I caught up with both Marketing Manager, Mark Passador, and Membership Director Colin Davison after the game in the Eagles rooms, and as a man of my words, advised them that I will be back to the Oval Avenue offices during the week to sign up and become a member of the Woodville West Torrens Football Club![]()
The losing side's supporter had to become a member of the winning sides club so PhilH has mananged to secure the Eagles another financial member for 2009, well done Phil
