to me the answer to this is who could/should win the Magarey Medal and I would say:

McKenzie WWTFC
Fisher GFC
Allan NAFC
Chambers SFC

Quite often that is the case. The Magarey Medal (and the Brownlow) is flawed IMHO. There really should be a better way to decide the best player for a season than 3-2-1.

I think Jeremy Clayton is the most brilliant player in the comp by quite a bit, but I'd take one of the Gowans boys - Would offer our dogs breakfast so much both on and off the field.

I wasn't talking necessarily of coaching either, even just a year or two onfield to marshall the blokes that are unsure and harden them up.

From My Club Corey Ahchee or Dolling

Opposition Club Brant Chambers - if port had a key forward who kicked goals every week consistantly we would be a much much better side.

Id take age more into account than others as Id be looking at it from a long term point of view.
From North Id take Damon White.
From another team probably James Boyd as you'd get another 10 plus years out of him.
Definately would take the Gowans if they were younger.

My team "The Gowans" aren't they one in the same?
Other Clayton or Salim Hassan ( I don't see him much, but never seem him play poorly)

Staying with the topic, Chambers (St) would have to be my first pick, if he was still there I would take Rolfe (SA) with my next pick (round 10)

Bays - Ty Allen ... Mulesy and 'Nozz close 2nds
The rest - Buckets Mackenzie

The no.1 pick to me doesn't mean the most talented but the bloke you know will perform when it matters and has the ability to change the direction of a match.
Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

We're heading towards priority pick territory at the moment so two picks would see me get

From my club,

Zorzi followed by Sam Rowe.

From another club;

Boyd and Clayton ;)
Steve Bradbury and Michael Milton. Aussie Legends.

My Club: Mark McKenzie - class player all around and very versatile, rarely a possesion wasted.

Opposition Club: James & Chris Gowans - have a knack of getting under their opponents skin putting them off their game whilst racking up possesions of their own
