Aaron Kite

Postby Sojourner » Thu May 21, 2009 11:13 am

Does anyone know how Aaron Kite is going with his football career? Is he currently injured? He appears to have dropped off the radar for some reason, which is a pity because last season he played some of his best footy so far?

Actually wouldn't be surprised if he were recalled to the Norwood lineup for our next game mate ... Unfortunately I haven't seen much of our magoo's this year, but the general feedback seems to be that he took a while to get going, but appears to be running back into form now.

If he doesnt play League soon, is there a chance he will move or be moved by Adelaide to a club that will play him in the 1's.

If that was the case Norwood might tell them to go fly a kite!

I'd be fairly dissapointed if the Crows moved him more becuase I don't think his form has been that good. If he was demanding a position in the side and Norwood were ignoring him then I'd have no problem but even the other night he only picked up about 10 touches in reserves.

When fully fit and in form he is a good player so hopefully we might see some improvement. Otherwise he might find it hard to stay on the Crows list and if he was delisted I'd expect him to return to Victoria. No doubt we are a better side with an inform Aaron Kite in the side.

Why is it that his form has taken several steps backwards since last season?

A few personal issues I'd say are a fair reason. I think that's behind him now though.

I hope he works out his problems on the field because he's too talented and was too successful last year to be stuck in the ressies.

While the notices were 'improved, looking better' in his last ressies game, the stats said that he had 10 possessions.

Not impossible he might get a call-up next time, but they're not the kind of figures that would have the Crows moving him to another club for a bloody-minded refusal to play him in the firsts.
