That means Collingwood, Kangaroos or maybe Richmond. Trust me. He WILL be coaching somewhere in the AFL next season

Theres no way it will be at Essendon, Knights was put in charge to develop the yougsters ( baby bombers ) of today for success in 2-3 years playing positive attacking football not to have someone like Choco come onboard & teach them defence only.

I agree, Williams won't be at Essendon, Knights has got them playing so pretty good footy lately.

I reckon Williams could be a chance at Richmond or North Melbourne.

I don't reckon Nth Melbourne would be able to pay Williams what he would probably ask for would they?

In saying that, Williams won't leave Port but if he did, he would be more of a chance at those clubs.

Reports out of Melbourne for quite some time now have almost had it a fait accompli that Chocco won't be at Port next year .. He possibly won't be, but I wouldn't have thought it as certain as Caroline Wilson and co. seem to think?

Well Williams wont be a Port, I would say hes looking to get back to Melbourne for a bit. Also I dont think Malthouse will be at collingwood either at I believe its time for the protical Son to take the helm of collingwood and steer them to the great beyond......

Probably explains why the assistants are always jumping off. Nothing left to pay them.

Here's a point of view that all Chocco haters will cringe at(the truth hurts). Maybe he is such a great coach and developer of players and also staff, that they become highly sought after by other clubs and get offered lucrative positions. That is why they leave. Want some examples? How about Clarkson,Bailey and Healy for starters. Think of any other AFL coach besides Sheedy with a better record of "coaching the coaches". That's why he's worth every cent.

But why would a club want to pay mega bucks to help the other clubs in the competition get good coaches? If the coaches that chocco is coaching (try saying that ten times fast :) ) arent staying at the club, then they arent getting the benefit of the money that it is costing them are they? They might as well just give the cash to the other teams in the league and skip the middleman!

Interesting point you make there Tipper. But Chocco is not only a good developer of future coaches, he has a pretty good record with developing talented young players as well. Like Sheedy, his record with our indigenous lads is outstanding. And don't forget that he has already agreed to a salary reduction if Port keep him on next season. They'd be crazy to sack him IMO.
