Mate jump aboard the Eagles if any - we will make you feel welcome down at Oval Avenue. We are looking at making Woodville a fortress and with the youngsters coming through the system success is just around the corner.

Do you know the rules?/
Do you scream BALL when an opponent gets within 1m of your teams player?
If you answered NO/YES then stand just to the south of stands at Glenelg Oval .You will see your new team wins some games and fit right in as if nothing has changed.

Yep spot on, the 'Louts don't know the rules of Australian Football but they are well versed in the Laws of Australian Football.

Probably speaks volume about your posts and knowledge of the game if you keep refering to this fictious "rule book". :D ;)
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

You can't go for 'instant thrills' ... that's what is wrong with our modern, consumer based society !!!

I think Freddie Mercury & Queen summed it up perfectly... "I want it all & I want it now" (admittedly 'all' may have meant all 12 inches, in Fred's case but...)

The point is; these things will turn around.

As a West Torrens man, who NEVER saw us win a Final, let alone a GF, I understand but...

That's what its about... I support Fulham FC, I began supporting them when they were 91st in the League & lost to Torquay who were 92nd !!!
We are now in the midst of our GREATEST ever finish in the 'Top Flight' depending on this week's result, 7th or 8th - previous best EVER was 9th.

This is why you MUST stay with South ... the 'good times' are so much more important when they happen.

Where were you 3 seasons ago when you lot beat Port in the Elimination Final ?
Do you remember the feeling you had then ?

Success is defined in so many different ways, NOT just 'winning' - although winning is important

C'mon mate, stick with them because they NEED your membership & support ... not the 'silvertails' from the Bay.

You would be ""devo"" about being a west torrens and fulham fan wouldnt ya??? ;) ;)

Only one thing confuses me

Why would the louts cry "ball" when an opponent gets within 1m of a Glenelg player.

From previous experience it usually happens when the opponent has the ball and ...... well you get the picture.

1/ Player A has the Ball, Player B is a Glenelg player, Player A runs within a metre of the Glenelg player, BALL is called, you get the picture.

2/ He didn't mention the Louts, recent times Ive been there they've been in a minority.

Changing teams cos you're not happy? True supporters don't just change teams...be disappointed, get angry even but you stick with them cos you know that eventually things will turn around.

It's taken my rugby team 61 years to win another Grand Slam of which I'd been waiting 47...there was never, ever any question of ditching them and going with another team...and my god it's been worth the wait...one of the sweetest moments of my life was watching that win...and I'm fully prepared to have to wait another 47 years to see the next one if I have to.

Now pull yourself together man and stop this nonsense.

JAS

even when Sturt were crap in the 90's I stuck with them. I remember driving to Murray Bridge to see if they could get close to the Panthers one day. They didn't but by Christ I was proud of every single one of them. You have to stick with them CN. They'll come good, just give them time.
