Honestly, Freo are so infuriating to watch, Hawthorn handed them the game on a silver platter, yet Freo are so insipid that they just couldn't win the game. I feel sorry for their supporters, a handful of proper kicks and they would have won.

I would not be calling them insipid after tonights performance. Yes they let themselves down with their goal kicking but i thought they were reasonably good. Hawthorn did not hand the game to Fremantle either, they really did work their way back into the game with some good football. I have seen Fremantle far worse than they were tonight.

That is my point, around the ground they were pretty good, numerous good contests and ball winning by Freo in the second half, but when it came to the finish, they messed it up again and again.
