In fact in 2005 2006 and 2007 there was a large contingent of players that played in the 17s association game that had cemented their spot in their respective clubs A grade sides, so I wouldn't have thought the selectors stance on this would have changed and any A grade player young enough would be considered for selection

Certainly. I would think it's a given that the selectors would be after the best Under 17 1/2 players in the league regardless of whether they're playing A's, Ressies or 17's.

Who are people tipping to be in the side from their respective clubs?

bit harsh. has been kicking goals from poor delivery all year. plus freeling are yet to kick a big score so he hasnt had a huge chance to kick a bag.

The Barracker tips were pretty spot on this week. The results were:

Barossa by 2 points over South.
Freeling by 6 over Willaston.
Nuri knocked Kapunda by 54 points.
Gawler Central smashed Angaston by 100+.

Looks like Centrals are still the team to beat, not to mention the drop in Angaston's form in the past fortnight.
Will be very hard to get back on track.

FB, if that's what you think, tell me this, Who isn't making your finals?
Because it's looking like we can already pencil in GC & Freeling and now you've added SG... That means only one of Nuri, BD and Willaston can make the 4. Also are you giving Ango, Tanunda and Kapunda no chance at all? (It's still only May!)
Interested in your thoughts...

ruben it will be interesting to see how good barossa bulldogs go this week against centrals
and if centrals kick straight this week it could be a blow out
it will come down to how good barossas defensive pressure and fitness is

Gawler Central, Freeling and Barossa will make up the top three in that order. Fourth spot, however, is well and truly up for grabs this year and it's very competitive throughout the mid-table. It'll be one of South, Nuri and Willaston. Money is probably on Willaston at the moment especially seeing their effort against Freeling. Nuri are pretty hit and miss so I don't think they'll make it. South have played all of the top three already so there'll be a few wins in the latter part of this round.
