Massive wake up call. My word is Aaron Cocks is dedicating himself to the A Grade for the rest of the year.

A very weird round. South pump Angaston which I didn't think would happen. Freeling comfortably beat Barossa which I didn't think would happen. KAPUNDA WIN A GAME which I didn't think would happen and Willaston knock off Nuri which I didn't think would happen.

Looks like you tipped very poorly with none, Dizz.

South certainly surprised me with a massive win over Angaston.
With 8 goal scorers with 5 kicking multiple goals looked to have found some form.

Positive stuff for Kapunda with Justin Zanandrea kicking 5 goals and best on ground.
Will face Nurioopta next week and if Kapunda play as good as they did should be in for a very good chance.
Also good to see Robbie Modistach kicking 5 goals against Willaston in a losing effort, some positives there for the tigers.

Freeling also performed well against Barossa keeping Liam Smith and Jack Madgen to one goal each.
Ashley McCard has been a real star down at full back for the Legs forcing Smith to work up into the midfield to get a kick.
Freelings forward line worked very well yesterday with Jake Martin, Adam Schmidt and David Drummond looking very solid.
Midfield which includes Doherty, Barnes, Kirvan and Angus Martin also executing quite well, especially without Aaron Cocks who has chosen to have a run in the A grade.

No surprise to see Kapunda win against a team that gets too far ahead of itself too often

Barossa went down to a well played Freeling. Doherty ran all over a very poor Barossa midfield. It took the Barossa coach to the last quarter to see it and put a player on him. I would say the coach for Barossa lost the game not the players.
Something to think about

Too right Anti dog. He's hopeless! What about his best midfielder playing at full back all day on Schmidt! Blind Freddie could see that was a mismatch. And Why didnt Handley play? I heard it was disciplinary reasons ??? How did the guy get that job when brilliant football minds like yours aare all queuing up to coach there???

jugg is played best on a wing not at full back, but u can see why he could be good from there with his run, which schmidt lacks.

The coach may of made bad match up choices, but if the players wanted to swap they would of.
You can't blame it on the coach without blaming anything on the players.

i saw the barossa freeling game and i still think freeling have not his the potential yet. they are slowly working out game plans of how to clear there defence and how to use there forwards correctly. when they get these things down pat i dare say only GC will stand in there way.

I didn't do any tips this week Hancock! Agree that Kapunda are a chance against Nuri if they play as they did Saturday. Very, very interested in the South Gawler v Barossa matchup.
