A question for everyone - was the high scoring matches between these two sides better than this close low scoring match?

Grima reported for misconduct in that he racially abused Thompson. Umpy was the only one out there who thought it was racial abuse. Grima actually said "fat so and so" when umpy thought he said something else. Should be cleared up pretty quickly and report withdrawn. Nothing in it. Grima not that sort of bloke.

well that sounds right, grima looked real shocked he had to give the ball back, let alone was reported.

This was the worst game Ive seen between the two sides for years.
The fact that there was previous matches between the sides that were high scoring or that this game was close is irrelevent, the fact is it was atrocious football from both sides today where in the past there's been some great footy between both the sides.

Just on that, if you hypothetically do say something racial to another player do they get a free kick reversed? Is this actually a rule? Ridiculous if something can be reversed or free kicks given for something you say IMHO.

I thought the umpiring was good today. Just a shame the tackling and intensity of one of the teams was so piss-weak.

Yes the umpiring was fair but they do go a bit over board in the SANFL in regards to their refusal to pay any holding the ball decisions which slows the game up far too much especially in today's game at the Bay.

i tend to think that they are hotter on holding the ball in our comp than the afl, next time you watch an afl game, count the number of times the crowd scream ball, compared to how many times the umps pay it, in all honesty i reckon the ratio would be 20/1 and that isnt being silly

Its a shocker.
Don't be too harsh on the designer as I already got threatened with legal action! I kid you not!

Yeah I know we've been over it before you just don't realise how redicuously bad they are until you see them in the flesh.

Could we threaten legal action for having to look at them??
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

An Adelaide-based AFL game. Every crowd at Amy Stadium thinks that every tackle is automatic holding-the-ball. The poor supporters just don't know the rules.

And there are plenty of those misguided front running fools at Crows games!

BOG should go to the timekeeper ... but instead IMHO Cranston would have got 1st, 2nd & 3rd best. Sellar played one of his better games as well.

Jeez, glad and a tad luckly to get the 2 points but still wasteful with posessions and in front of goal, could have won by 5 or 6 goals if on song.

Big call to drop Duldig for Kirk, considering we've struggled up front all year ... and FFS, no kicking across goal in time-on when you're less than a goal ahead!

Damon White was North's best for mine, whilst Cain Ackland seems to be continuing his ordinary AFL form in the SANFL. He reminds me of Brett Chalmers, magnificent physique, but rarely has an impact on the game.

Like everyone else at the ground, thought that the ump was being precious when he took the ball off Todd Grima, but heard when I got home that it was an alleged racial incident and both clubs kissed and made up after the game so apparently the report will be withdrawn.

Now another 6 day break before taking on the Legs and then 3 weeks to re-group and practice kicking for goal.
Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

I’m only the administrator of the estate of dedja … my yes be yes, my no be no
