Close but no cigar, I tipped the Roosters, almost came off.

only a 26 minute last 1/4

thankgod the siren went when it did!!!!!!!!!!!

Trevor Cranston, just the usual sensational job with second, third, fourth efforts

I think we definately need to have a team rule that only certain players kick backwards in the defensive 50 across goal

We look ok when we get the handball moving forward through the lines
Matty Wade is a star and deserves more respect from the forum family!

Best side on the day won, Bays should have been 5 or 6 up at half time. Norths game plan is woeful from the backline of running the boundary line till inside 50. Plus Norths forward line today was abysml. Cant tell me Alleway is anwhere near fit, Healy seems to have Jimmy Allan doing all his work in the back half and only got a few possessions forward of the centre. Clarke whilst he gheld Backwell to reasonable possessions gave away about 8 to 10 undisiplined frees. Dont know much about he Bay players but i dont think Mickan would be overly pleased with the performance either. On what I saw today Bays have a lot more chance of finals participation than North

What was Todd Grima reported for in the 2nd quarter? Didn't have the sound on, all I saw was a clean mark to Grima, the ball taken off him, the umpire taking his number, and a shot on goal by Wade Thompson.

We were down the other end of the ground but were just as bamboozled.
Crikey, what an awful game to have on TV, skills of both sides were shocking, Im not sure how the Bays have slid so much since last year.
They should have been so far in front with straighter kicking that North couldn't have got close but then the Bays turned defensive and tried to lost the game.
1 more second and North would have been most undeserving winners, draw would have been better.
Of all the games I choose to let Mrs Wedgie drink and remain sober, urgh!
If Roy Laird saw that he would have laughed his tits off.
I hope it didn't turn too many people off the SANFL and over to the AFL.

On a bright note its an absolute pleasure to enjoy a ground with such fantastic facilities, only downpoint is the $9 scotch and coke cans, WTF?

Didn't take too many pics as the ball was down the Northern end just about the entire 2nd quarter but will have some up later. :D

Very strange incident, can only assume it was from a racial comment.

North's tackling was of a basketball standard, very soft.

Glenelg deserved to win.

Is there any team even remotely close to Centrals?

They said on the coverage that he was reported for a comment he made to Wade Thompson, on the replay he was clearly seen making a comment but if it was directed at Thompson or not and what he said, I could not tell. In saying that Thompson did not seem upset in anyway and did not say anything back or confront Grima. From where I sit, it was inconclusive and I guess now it all goes onto Thompson on if he heard what was said and what was said. Grima seen pretty upset when he was reported and very shocked. (Cant believe I am kinda backing a Bay player up here a tad)

I would have thought after last year's public opinion of Centrals Grima might have learnt to keep his mouth shut.

What sort of moron came up with the umpires wearing red socks in a North game, I know what its for and what it signifies but a ridiculous idea which caused confusion on more than one occasion.
Thought it was going to help us there for a while as a couple of decisions were in our favour!

More to the point what sort of Moron came up with Norths away Guernsey???

Crikey I'd be ashamed to have that as a training guernsey
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Can't disagree with that, but Ive already been through that discussion a few months ago.
Its a shocker.
Don't be too harsh on the designer as I already got threatened with legal action! I kid you not!

Mind you today was our first loss in them, we beat Norwood and Sturt in them as everyone knows our red guernseys clash with blue and black.
