my point is some of you say Crows have a poor record against the eagles but in the next breath dismiss sydneys record against Adel

Well they do have a poor records against the Eagles in particular at AAMI where the game is (presuming WCE get up)

Sydney's record against the crows can then come up if they both make the GF, but their individual records at the MCG show Crows have lost the last 3 out of 4 there which considering their record the last 2 years is a worry surely?

Dutchy, we play at the MCG once a year, it's not a factor, who ever we play it is likely to be a neutral venue for both teams, overal the crows record in melb and interstate is probably the best in the comp

Last year they were ordinary in the first half of the year, when
they did have players injured.
And for all the smarta...s out there I am not referring to a certain
ground in melbourne shared by 3 clubs in this discussion.

It's called having guts, strength, determination. Something the Swans have bucketloads of, where as St Kilda have none. Has there been a softer AFL team then St Kilda? The Western Bulldogs have been hit harder with injuries this year, but look what having team spirit does. And a decent coach.

Its also called a salary cap advantage which contributes to the club having greater depth come finals time, also seen when the Lions had the same benefit a few years ago ;)

This advantage helped the Swans get Barry Hall to the club a few years ago when no other club could afford it, funny that.

He is in denial REB!

looked into this a bit further only 2 wins in last 7 games at the G since 2002 and one of them was against the Hawks!

Melbourne are the only team that can call the MCG home - to all other sides it is virtually a neutral venue.

The Crows game plan stacks up well on the small Dome and SCG etc but cant survive on the open expanses of Subi and the MCG - FACT!!!!
