Probably not, but there are some players who play more like rovers did in the past, than others do, like J Clayton, and probably Callinan.

Have to disagree with that. Callinan is more a small fwd who has a run on the ball in bursts. Chad O'sullivan and Slade are more the traditional rovers at Doggy Land. Clayton probably spends 50-50 on ball and up fwd but that is probably more to do with the load he is expected to carry for the under performing pies.
Jimmy Allan is a definate rover - spends 90 percent of his time on ball and rarely rests up fwd.
Young Boyd from South is a genuine rover and is bloody good too.
