Port Power's best player out for 4 weeks

Postby grant j » Fri May 08, 2009 3:16 pm

The AFL has announced that as a result of infractions resulting from round 6 v Adelaide Crows,
Power's runner and 19th man has been suspended for 4 weeks for continually breaching the rules and not entering the field for the sole purpose of confering only with players and for failing to immediately leaving the playing surface when asked.

David Arnfield has been a serial pest for too long, it's about time the AFL cracked down on this behaviour.

Is that the little balding runner.?I will never forget when my brother said minutes before Port ran out in the 2007 GF." When Port won in 2004 that runner was 4th man out of the race as if he was living out some pathetic boyhood dream about playing in a GF,he would not do it again surely ?"............you guessed it in 2007 he was 2nd out behing the captain
footnote: It may have been 2nd then 4th come to think of it now but a podium or near podium both times
