RD 6 Port v Sturt @ Alberton

Can Sturt keep Port winless or will they break their duck?

Unfortunately i think will Sturt will win by about 4 goals. They seem to have Port's measure these days.

and will the faithful get the knives out if Sturt can get the chocolates?

a couple of injuries to the back half for the double blues is a slight concern but it provides opportunities for those in the reserves to show what they have at the next level

Quite a few Port faithful have had the knives out for Ginever for quite some time now, if the Magpies don't play well this weekend, the pressure on him will intensify even further.

surely port will 'fire up' given that this will be their last chance to get back in the race for a finals spot, but i don't think they are quick enough to go the full distance with sturt, so i'll say after a tight tussell sturt to run away with a win in the last 15-20 minutes of the game by about 4 or 5 goals
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

I would doubt P.Burgoyne will be with the Magpies this week Phil. After two weeks on the sideline and brother Shaun out of the Power line up for a month Peter will be straight back in.

Ebert and Surjan however....

Did Ivan Maric play anywhere last weekend? With the 'Pies having the bye I thought he went to the bottom team in the Reserves. If he didnt play, why not?

Port to go The Biff (as instructed by previous "greats" in the changeroom before the game), plenty of reports, win by 4 points.
