The idea of names on the back is a good one though, even though most players would be too far away for me to read it

Would have been at least 4000 just for this match tomorrow when it wont be -10C and raining most of the night. So many people wouldnt have bothered because of the weather.
Umpiring was ridiculous. Thats all I will say on that.
North had many fine players on the night. Younie and Ladhams were dangerous up forward. Youngsters Mcintyre and Edwards had great matches whilst Campbell created a lot of drive through the midfield. Ivens was good down back as well. Basically a case of all played well for the Roosters.
I thought the Pies did reasonable. J Clayton recovered from giving away 5 25-50m penalties in the first half (all resulted in goals) to have a great second half. King and Looby were strong in defence whilst Jenner was lively.
Onto next week. Will watch tomorrows match with great interest.
