Not one of the best looking guernseys I have seen - probably because North have one of the better guernseys to start with - but well done again to North for being innovative and siezing the opportunity to make some more cash. The idea of names on the back is a good one though, even though most players would be too far away for me to read it :D

Very true smac - the names are useless the size they are unless you are standing within 10 feet of the player.

What!?! You expected them to WIN a finals match?
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.

Pretty decent skilled match considering the conditions. SANFL made a mistake moving this one. 2600 I think the crowd was. Would have been at least 4000 just for this match tomorrow when it wont be -10C and raining most of the night. So many people wouldnt have bothered because of the weather.

Umpiring was ridiculous. Thats all I will say on that.

North had many fine players on the night. Younie and Ladhams were dangerous up forward. Youngsters Mcintyre and Edwards had great matches whilst Campbell created a lot of drive through the midfield. Ivens was good down back as well. Basically a case of all played well for the Roosters.

I thought the Pies did reasonable. J Clayton recovered from giving away 5 25-50m penalties in the first half (all resulted in goals) to have a great second half. King and Looby were strong in defence whilst Jenner was lively.

Onto next week. Will watch tomorrows match with great interest.

Who would you rather us play Macca? Glenelg or South?

In my opinion I would think Souths best is probably better than Glenelgs best. I'm only basing this on what I saw at Noarlunga when we played there, but they were white hot that day.

I think we will beat either of them next week (my own personal feeling), but Id be more confident against South.

Another thing about tonight...must have been one of the longest game ive gone to. Quarters went for 35, 35, 30 and 32 minutes.
