Also heard that Hardy, Spurr and O'Hara were involved in a car accident on the way to the oval after they were t-boned in a hit-run incident. Hardy was in the hands of the medical staff downstairs being checked out to see if he is fit to play tomorrow. The other two lads are OK. Hardy's car not so good.
Car written off and think the car was O'Haras, just glad the boys are ok as a car is only a car. Hardy does have a bad head so I hope he pulls up alright for tomorrow.....
Ryan Williams was also in the car..
Happened at the intersection outside Fasta Pasta Salisbury, involved a Toyota Hilux.
An ex-centrals player witnessed the crash first hand while dining at the restaurant.
They were all shocked by it, but apparently Justin Hardy came off worst. Hope he is OK tomorrow.

Glenelg disgraceful effort. You let down the ANZAC spirit today....
To the SACA, f*** you ! The shitty PA system completely F***** up the pre game ANZAC ceremony. Good effort.
And question ? Central you appear to have some decent fans, but a group that look like they wouldn't know which end
of the pen to hold, would have to be the biggest mob of wankers in the SANFL.
Pity you let the great work your team do, down, by being absolute A grade morons....

Open both eyes and you might see all the dickheads. Dickheads.

Thought Dunne on debut showed enough class while Giles played possibly his best game for the club. Might not have had a huge game, but 3 very nice goals capped a good performance from him. O'Hara and O'Sullivan were great all day while Sansbury looks like he can just do whatever he wants. Getting some pace back and he is really sharpening up. Havelberg's last quarter was a nice reminder to the comp exactly how far they have to go to catch up. When you can swap Havelberg and Schell and not lose a thing the options are stunning.
Glenelg for mine looked awful. Hinge looks out of place and probably belongs on a netball court (perhaps even the under 12s, the seniors might play too rough) while McConnell should stop play acting, staging for free kicks and trying to kick cheap goals by not chasing and "hoping" his teammates cause a turnover so he can be on his own in the goalsquare and start working hard, putting his head over the ball and tackling occasionally, like a real footballer. Glenelg's dangerous players were kept out of the play (in other words Backwell) while Allen didn't have the effect he had at HHO last season when he butchered us. Perhaps that was a one off performance (I highly doubt it though) but there is no doubt the dogs were very cautious of Backwell and Allen, and backed their next best few midfielders to beat Glenelg's next best. Glenelg's backline is still a bit of a weakness IMHO while the forward line minus Grima looks terrible. Duldig and Kirkby aren't exactly the names that spring to mind when you think of top SANFL forwards!
It might be early in the season, and perhaps they can turn things around but it's hard to imagine the same guys, or even most of the same guys plus a couple of other guys being able to improve enough to threaten the top tier of the SANFL. At the moment the top tier comprises the CDFC, will any other teams be joining them soon?

Mmm,if you were at the game today and saw the replay this comment is not correct,Central have a few different gameplans and use different ones depending on the situation and opponents.

I could not agree more, Ive seen a lot of Central over the years and this comment is spot on, they (or Roy Laird) do what they need to do to win big games, they are nothing short of brilliant at this.
If Central had only one game plan there is no way they'd be as successful as they have.
And its not only a game by game basis, quite often it can be a quarter by quarter or half by half issue.
Not only Central but a few other clubs used various tactics on North when they've had a run on in the past especially under Jars.
They'd flood back, zone and frustrate North, North would lose the plot, then that team would turn on their attacking game and blow the game out of the water.
It's not rocket science but its very effective and smart and Central are the best at the game IMHO.
