In the end, it was a great tussle and either side could have won. Game was wrecked by the worst umpiring display I have seen in many many years. Supporters on both sides could have alot to whinge about in regards to that. In the end our first win at Unley since 04 and with 5 or 6 of our regular players out injured etc great win

North and Sturt supporters both agreed after the game that the umpires ruined a great game of footy.
Really good spirits between fans of both sides today, diehards of both were there.
Not that I was in a mood to argue not having slept since Thursday night!![]()
Pretty happy with North, Centrals fans told us after round 2 we had nothing to look forward to and yet the 7th side of last year has beatn the 3rd, 4th and 5th side of last year, 2 at their own ground.
Gutsy win today for the boys, they always had something in reserve for that game and to beat the side I regarded as potentially the best going around last year from the 7th side it was a FANTASTIC win.
Mind you, what a shock that weather was coming from Phuket to Unley!! Ive just enjoyed the best long hot shower!

I'm having trouble seeing how that was a great win (despite players out etc.) The Roosters went to water in the second half...
Like I said, probably the correct result, but not a good win given you only kicked 1 goal in the second half (and coming home with a 5 goal breeze)...
