ROUND 5 MATCH TIME CHANGES



The SANFL wishes to advise the following changes have been made to the start times of some Round 5 League matches.



Sturt v North – House Brothers Oval – Saturday, April 25

Reserves – 12pm start

League – 2.45pm start



Eagles v Panthers – Woodville Oval – Saturday, April 25

Reserves – 12pm start

League – 2.45pm start



The changes have been made due to this weekend’s forecast weather conditions.

Trying to limit the effects of darkness at the end of the day, I would imagine.

Yep, the reserves don't start until 12 due to ANZAC services about the 'burbs, they are obviously shortening some of the breaks in the reserves and/or the league pre-game stuff to get the earlier start time.

I'll say it'd be the League pre-game. The breaks in the Reserves game would be the same as normal I'd say.

Dont think it matters, in the current weather pattern it will be near dark by 5pm. All you need in a game is a stoppage of about 5 to 10 mins for a serious injury or two and it will be pitch black by the end. Luckily we are playing at Unley so we can manouvre our cars around the bollards to give sufficient light if needed in the last 1/4 :D
