Goodes is a shoe in!

Jolly will be lucky to make the bench... No way he will beat Cox, who is nearly a shoe in already unless he gets injured....

Once again, i wrote the Swans off and they have bounced back and are looking the goods.

Two great wins in a row, i reckon they might shock a few people this year (including me) and squeeze into the eight.

Jolly's a ******* spud. Up against Matthew Kluelesszer and some Collingwood reject he hardly got warm. And Goodsey gets votes for putting on his boots. Keep up the good work Pidgey!

I think Jolly is a very important part of our side, no matter what REB's says!

Did he need to get warm. No. They won fairly easily against a very over-rated team. I hope to see us cause some carniage in September.

The Swans may sneak into the eight, but to cause any carniage? that is a big no.

McVeigh continued his solid form outplaying Chris Judd of all people.

His stocks are rising.

A few pundits expressed on the weekend that he beat Judd on Saturday but had 10 less touches.

If we can sustain our good periods (eg second and third quarters) for the entire game it would be fantastic to see as well. Taking on a wounded and embarressed Freo this week, we must be on the ball and don't want to drop this one away.

Agreed .. I'd noticed in recent years he'd moved from the OK to handy category, then to the "Good" category .. He's starting to get right up there now, smooth mover who's very neat near goal.

We are beating the teams we shouldnt and losing to the teams we should beat. This should mean Geelong will lose in a couple of weeks :D

interested to see how the big Canuck Myke Pike goes in his AFL debut this week.

A fairly sensational story since he only took up the game in earnest under a year ago.

A big chance on Saturday for the swans to separate themselves from the pack and go to a 6-4 win loss record. Western Bulldogs will be hard to top though even if it is at Manuka oval where we have a pretty big following.
