Probably not too far off it. I can't see Gawler Central being lower than top 3 though.

it wont just be schmidt kicking all the goals for freeling, theres 3 or 4 other blokes capable of kicking big bags, so shutting down schmidt will just open up aaron cocks to kick 5+ and max and trav barnes to chime in with 3 or 4 from the midfield, theyll be a strong unit and will have the most goal scoring power in the comp.

yea true but there was a game last year vs tanunda that adam schmit stept up as the big forward in the last quarter and kicked 3 and set up a few more, or in the final last year was clearly the stand out forward for the redlegs

yea i agree, i played for freeling in that final and he was a standout up forward, although cocks played all of about 5 mins of the game, your correct in saying hes the standout forward, but the freeling midfield pushes forward hard and kicks a lot of goals, and this year in the trials cocks has been used as more of a forward and he will kick big bags if he continues to play up forward a lot.

nah played mainly out of the goalsquare, but had a bit of an impact run in the middle in the last quarter, was in their for a fair while but was huffin n puffin pretty bad after about 5 mins, i think this will happen most weeks tho, mainly for centre bounces to try n muscle some clearances,

schmidt was quite effective in there for those 5 or so minutes he was there. work rate was quite good dont think he really stopped running. and a couple very good bussling runs through the middle of the ground showed he can be deceptively quick when he wants to be

nah i think itll be a different story this year, both max and cocksy have expressed that they want to be left in the 17s n have a tilt for the flag in the 17s, but in saying that i do think that at different stages throughout the year many of the freeling 17s will be exposed to A grade footy for their development,
