Panthers 5-2, West 1-10

This game opened in good style but has become a sloppy affair, lots of errors, etc.

Some great footy by the Pamthers. Strong mark by McKernan, a chain of handpasses then a top mark and goal by Ben Warren.

What did DeJongh do?

Don't tell me it was a brain fade? :D

Typical South v West scrappy affair , mistakes galore.
Looks like wins will be hard to come by for both teams in 09.
From a footy tipping point of view hope the Panthers get up.

Was probably more clumsy than spiteful as he knew he got it wrong straight away, but he bumped one of the south lads front on while the lad had his head down over the ball ... Took him a while to get up and take the kick.

Really shouldn't get a game for what he did, but tribunals get excited these days when any contact is made to the head.
