Bit early to tip but here goes.

Richmond vs Carlton

Richmond just but this is a real toss of the coin job. Both horribly overrated. I'll say Tiges by 11 points.

Hawthorn vs Geelong

This means more to the Cats than the Hawks and the Hawkers go in very underdone. Cats by four or five goals.

Collingwood vs Adelaide

Pies to start off with a win. Five goals.

Brisbane vs West Coast

Lions but not by a lot. I reckon the pride might struggle a bit this year. Brisbane by 15 points.

St.Kilda vs Sydney

Two horrible teams. St Kilda by three goals.

Melbourne vs North Melbourne

North by ten goals. Demons very light on for smaller defenders due to injury and the Roos are well served in this area.

Port Adelaide vs Essendon

Port to put on a clinic and win by plenty. Simply can't afford to drop this match.

Fremantle vs Western Bulldogs

Freo are crap, the dogs aren't. Doggies by five or six goals.

regards,

REB

Agree with most of that Booney, except I think Richmond are a chance against the Blues and have a good record over them in recent years ... Think Sydney are a chance also.

I too think Carlton only just and Richmond not without a chance.

Sydney and the St's will be won by whoever stays awake long enough. St.Kilda hell bent on defence this season if the trial against Port is any indication but then again how can you blame them with their hit and miss forward line.

If Porplyzia plays he will be far from 100% match fit and Van Berlo the same, add Symes to the list of missing too.

Craig has been stung by taking blokes not 100% into games before and I would be surprised to see him risk two of his guns this early in the year.

Would I change my tip if they play? No. Would I be upset as a Crow fan if they both played? Yes.

Carlton v Richmond:

Honestly this could go either way. How could you pick either side? They can play some good football and then some very very ordinary football all within the same 10 minutes.
Anyway, i will tip richmond, With richo up the ground and way too much attention on cousions I feel they might justbe able to take Carlton.
