South v North Trial 21/3/09

Postby panthers 2008 » Thu Mar 19, 2009 9:33 pm

Although this is only a trial, this game is important for our preperation for round one.
I hope we can manage to field as strong a line up as possible,as the team really needs to get a solid hit out before round one.
It still is not about the result, its about doing the the right things like getting to the ball first and putting your body on the line and playing some positive running football. These are all the things that were absent last saturday.
With Benny Warren and Kennedy-Hunt in the league side our forward structure will look much more potent!

Thats surprising considering their cricket side is playing the SCA a grade GF today. I would've thought they would be missing a few players.

North 22.10 142
South 13.10 88

Its going to be a very very long year for Panther supporters.

Archard and Allan standouts.

Did Warren and Torney play for South yesterday?? If they did it is probably a worse loss than last week, even though it is a trial.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
