Eagles 6.14 50
Only saw the last quarter, but windy conditions and North kicked 5 of their 10 goals in the last qtr. Pressure on the ball carrier and tackling was pretty good from what I saw. Healy seems to be placing a high emphasis on these kpi's in the game if the 3 qtr time address was anything to go by.

And north seemed to flood for three quarters .
Went to Coopers thinking North would destroy my eagles by 10 with all their forwards.
Eagles lost dobber pre game .Stewart went down in the first quarter and Passador was injured in the second .Banner was also injured sometime in the second.
BUT it turned into the same old eagles forward line no Passador no way to kick a winning score .
And the wind turned this into a shocking game. Many attempts to kick the ball long down the right flank just about always ended in out on the full.
Someone looked at the Eagles seconds side against Port and said the club has no depth .All I can say to that is North must have been playing the under 16's to lose by 93 points !!!
BUT if Passador is injured who will PLAY FF !!

I heard that North went inside 23 times to the Eagles 9. Gill also started to dominate but Neil Craig sitting in the stand must be tearing his hair out over Gill. He is diabolical sometimes yet brilliant at other. Just remember it was a trial game and both sides had some first choice players out.
